City Hall, a dive into municipal life
Go behind the scenes of municipal life through a guided tour of the City Hall, in the presence of the Mayor and elected officials of the town. The history of the town hall dates back to 1471, when King Louis XI erected the city as a commune. The Town Hall, occupies since 1894 an elegant bourgeois residence built in 1864 on the remains of the old convent of Cordeliers. As you stroll, you will discover emblematic places such as the wedding hall or the office of the Mayor where elected officials, will make you discover the role of a municipal council, the functioning of the community and the major missions of local public life.
