Get ready for a fun-filled weekend by the sea, in the village of Groomsport with its traditional thatched, whitewashed Cottages. The cottages will be open for you to step back in time and see how the fishermen and their families lived. Join Discover Groomsport for a walking tours looking into the history of the village. On Sunday afternoon between 2pm - 4pm the Ulster-Scots Agency's in partnership with Ards and North Down Borough Council celebrate Ulster-Scots language, heritage, and culture with an array of exciting activities. Join us for highland dance, piping, soda bread making, archery, and even falconry! Cockle Row Cottages will be open from 11am – 5pm on Saturday and Sunday with activity from 2 – 4pm.
