The Gallo-Roman villa, under study, located in the heart of the village of Saint-Saturnin-du-Bois, emerges from the ground and gradually reveals its history. Since 2008, the year of its discovery, the archaeological site has not stopped delivering treasures of knowledge to archaeologists, as well as to the many visitors. Originally a subdivision project, it is transformed into an archaeological excavation site open to volunteers and the public, for visits, discovery workshops and cultural events.
