In the village of Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie, pottery tradition since the fourteenth century, located 5 km from the city of Uzès in the Gard, discover the Museum of Mediterranean Pottery. The museum is housed in an old oil mill dating from the 16th century. It is at the heart of the Maison de la Terre next to the Terra Viva Gallery. The museum covers an area of approximately 400m² (2 floors, 11 rooms) including more than 1200 utilitarian ceramics from the countries around the Mediterranean. In 2009, the museum was awarded the Qualité Sud de France and Qualité Tourisme label, and received an award for its enhancement of local heritage.
