On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the General Council of the Tarn-et-Garonne opens exceptionally the doors of the Hotel du Département and the Château Montauriol. For two days, the public will be able to visit this superb building of the 1970s designed by architect Roger Taillibert and recently renovated. Visitors will thus discover the "backstage" of the General Council by accessing the room of the standing committee. Cohabitating with the contemporary architecture of the Hotel du Département, the Château Montauriol dating from 1865 will have no more secrets for visitors and will reveal to them the mysteries of its history. Rising in a green setting, it offers an ideal visiting setting for an afternoon with friends.
