Overview

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, attend a conference entitled "L'Architecture au service de la Mémoire" which invites Pierre-Louis Faloci, architect of the Centre d'Histoire du Mémorial 14-18 and Philippe Prost, architect of the Ring of memory. Both were distinguished by the Grand Prix National de l'architecture, which is the highest French award in this field, in 2018 for Pierre-Louis Faloci. This prize rewards the whole of his work, praised for its aesthetic coherence, its ethical commitment and its ability to integrate architecture into the landscape and memory of places. Philippe Prost received this same distinction in 2022. He is recognized for his ability to engage with history through architecture, creating spaces that honor memory while fitting into the present.
