Overview

Built between 1267 and 1270 by Richard de Treigots, 10th abbot of Fécamp, to return high justice there, the manor of Catel is the most old(former) manorial manor of Haute-Normandie. Nested at the bottom of his(its) sported dale, he(it) is, with his(its) strengthened front-door, one of the most beautiful witnesses(batons) of the Norman Middle Ages. The manor of Catel shelters one of the most beautiful collections of old(former) graffitis of Normandy. Access people with reduced mobility: off-street parkings handicapped persons, path secure and adapted since the parking lot up to the monument.
