Cultural Heritage Awareness Campaign through Graphic Design: Exhibition of Selected Works

Overview

As part of the European Heritage Days in Muro 2025, the School of Art and Design of Alcoi (EASD Alcoi) presents a series of activities dedicated to the promotion and appreciation of local cultural heritage.

On Friday, November 21 at 10:30 a.m., the presentation and workshops of cultural heritage projects created by students from the Graphic Design and Interior Design programs will take place at the L’Arpella Hall of the Municipal Archive. This event will showcase the creativity and contemporary perspectives of the students on Muro’s heritage.

In addition, from November 21 to 30, visitors can enjoy the exhibition of selected works from EASD Alcoi, highlighting the students’ reflections on the relationship between design and cultural heritage.

Visits to the exhibition can be arranged by appointment by calling +34 635 485 164.

Beyond its aesthetic value, graphic design plays a key role in the innovative promotion and management of cultural heritage. Through visual communication, design becomes a tool for interpreting, revitalizing, and connecting communities with their past, encouraging new ways of understanding and preserving local identity. By translating heritage into accessible and engaging visual narratives, graphic design helps ensure that tradition and innovation coexist, shaping a more inclusive and dynamic vision of culture.
