Cupar Museum & Heritage Centre
6 September 2025 (13:00 - 16:00) 7 September 2025 (13:00 - 16:00) Cupar Museum and Heritage Centre has occupied the former Station Cottage at Cupar Railway Station since 2012. Cupar Heritage, a voluntary organisation, transformed the space into a small museum and work area for the benefit of the local community who wished for a museum for many years. The Railway Station opened in 1847 and is a fine example of railway architecture of the Victorian era and the sympathetic conversion retains much of the charm of the Victorian era . The museum volunteers offer a welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly experience, and we take pride in exhibiting items with a strong connection to Cupar, the former County Town of Fife. The current exhibition within the museum is showcasing the 'Story of Cupar' and celebrating 250 years of Cupar Curling Club, from 1775 to 2025. Travel to the Museum on public transport is straightforward as the Station is on the main Edinburgh – Dundee line, while bus stops are conveniently located on Station Road with regular services to and from the town.
