Three unique encounters with the puppet
→ The Theatre welcomes emerging and recognized companies. Located in the Saint-Blaise district (20th century) for ten years, the Theatre has quickly become a meeting place with both knowledgeable and novice spectators in the art of puppetry. Since September 2007, the Théâtre aux Mains Nues has been directed by Eloi Recoing, director and translator. Its creative and transmission activities are based on strong dramaturgy, of yesterday or today and the hybridization of practices in the field of puppetry. Since the foundation of the Théâtre by Alain Recoing, master of the glove puppet, these two axes are at the heart of our missions. The teaching team consists of professional artists and strives to confront all the disciplines involved in the art of puppetry. Many calls for projects are offered to young companies.
