On more than two hectares, the ecomuseum presents five buildings with traditional Bresse architecture, as well as a carronnière, 2,000 m² of exhibition and living places of yesteryear, reconstituted for a journey through time. The different themes of the exhibitions allow to understand the life of old in Bresse: the typical wood-frame architecture and the famous Saracen fireplace, the school, the grocery store and the bistro of yesteryear, the old trades (sabotier, shoemaker, basketry...), tools and agricultural machinery, but also horse-drawn carriages, patois, traditional clothing... A part of the rural history of this region, famous for its famous poultry.
