Aniche unveils its connected heritage circuit on the occasion of the Heritage Days On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the City of Aniche invites you to join us on Saturday 20 September at 2 PM, in Place Jean Jaurès, for an unprecedented event: the launch of the Aniche heritage circuit. The appointment is fixed throughout the afternoon at the level of the signpost, starting point of one of the courses created thanks to the connected medals, true guardians of the secrets of the Anichois heritage. These medals, discreetly placed on the different places of the circuit, will invite you to an interactive journey through the history of 20 emblematic sites of the municipality. By scanning them with your smartphone, you will have access to a rich selection of historical content, anecdotes, testimonies, archives of the time and photos, carefully collected to revive the past and preserve the collective memory. This heritage circuit was able to see the light of day thanks to the financial support of the Region, which actively supports local heritage projects. It is also based on a participatory dynamic, directly involving the younger generations. Indeed, part of the content was imagined and realized with the children of the Municipal Council of Children (CME) and the Municipal Council of Young people (CMJ), during a week of exchange and discovery conducted with Oculus Patrimoine, specialized design office, in collaboration with the Centre de mémoire de la Verrerie d'en Haut, the Société d'Histoire d'Aniche, and Serge Otaviani, passionate local greeter. The heritage circuit will guide you through the streets of Aniche to meet its industrial, cultural, religious and architectural heritage. This project is part of a strong desire to transmit, enhance and modernize access to heritage, relying on digital tools to reach all generations. We are expecting many of you to discover this open-air journey and to celebrate together the soul of Aniche through its places and stories.
