La Cour des Prés, a fortified house from the 16th century, is a private historic residence, built at the request of François I to defend the nearby border. The usual visit is offered to you. It includes a complete historical and artistic journey through the exteriors and interiors, guided by a member of the founder’s family, Louis Martin, who built the Cour des Prés in 1546 to protect the population. A living fresco of more than 470 years, lived to the rhythm of French history, awaits you.
