For more than 30 years, the «Association Spéléologique pour l'Etude et la Protection des Anciens Mines» (ASEPAM) has been working to preserve and enhance the mining, geological and mineralogical heritage of the Val d'Argent. This mining history is traced in the permanent exhibition «Les Chemins de l'Argent» presented at L'Aventure des Mines, local of the association. Throughout the year, the animators and volunteers of ASEPAM invite visitors to discover two silver mines: the Saint-Louis Eisenthür mine and the Gabe Gottes mine, two underground paths opened to exploitation in the sixteenth century and preserved as the miners abandoned them. Special events are regularly organized (historical reconstruction in May, special Christmas visits...), in addition to the archaeological site taking place every year in July.
