Overview
Villa Oppenheimer, built in 1913, has been home to the Permanent Representation of France to the Council of Europe since its establishment in Strasbourg in 1966\\. It is France’s diplomatic representation to the oldest European international organization. Dependent on the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, it provides the interface between the French authorities and the Council of Europe.
