Julien Souila, one of the last craftsmen to braid Marie-Galante’s waffles, stops over in Pointe-Noire to pass on this art to you. A technique once used on the island to build the Marie-Galante huts. The craftsman will tell you this story. You will see him at work and can practice this know-how with him.
