Overview
Dive into the fascinating history of the chapel of Walcourt, built between 1602 and 1604. Point of arrival of a large procession to the Trinity, this religious building has survived through the centuries successively being a place of worship for Catholics, Orthodox and Protestants. Admire its square shape on the outside and its unique circular piece on the inside, as well as its blue stone facing by Givet. Although the name of its architect is unknown, the chapel retains a strong link with Our Lady of Walcourt, venerated in the Basilica Saint-Materne, in Belgium.
