🚂 Visit to the Railway Museum – A journey to the heart of railway heritage

Discover freely or on a guided tour an exceptional collection of more than 60 old railway vehicles, witnesses of multiple activities: military railways, mines, quarries, brickyards, etc. These vehicles, coming from all over Europe, the United States and even New Caledonia, have for the most part been restored with passion by the volunteers of the association. Others have been preserved in their original state, revealing the meticulous work necessary for their restoration. Explanatory panels also trace the history of the Tramways à Vapeur du Tarn, this narrow gauge network (60 cm) that served the region of Graulhet between 1895 and 1937. 🛤 Not to be missed: seven vehicles are listed as Historic Monuments. 👉 Possibility of combining the visit with a journey on board the Tarn Tourist Railway: the departure station is located in the immediate vicinity of the museum.
