Overview

The present church of Babeau-Bouldoux dates from the eighteenth century. It has Renaissance furniture from the Benedictine abbey of Saint-Chinian. Several elements are remarkable: the walnut console stalls with human figures and a walnut bas-relief, with the representation of Saint Benoit in the Cave of Subiaco (MH), the bronze bell that dates from 1767, the stall with medallion and the cladding panelling (abbots and two monks of the Order of St Benedict).
