Overview

The 15th century gate is one of the few remnants of military architecture in this region.

The church of Saint-Pierre (11th-19th century) preserves objects from disappeared chapels: bells, capital, altar table, statues, of which the most revered is that of Our Lady of the Woods. In 1868, Italian painters, the Buccaferrata, decorated the triumphal arch with medallions representing eight villages of the neighborhood (Venerque, Auragne, Espanès...) as they were in the middle of the nineteenth century.
