Pedestrian rally in Wormhout

As part of the European Heritage Days, CapOnord, Orientation Sport offers a fun & cultural walking rally in Wormhout on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

The course that remains in the heart of the city does not exceed 4 km and is quite accessible to families and non-athletes. This event is completely free. The welcome will be held from 13:30 at the Wormhout kiosk. You will be given a booklet containing a questionnaire and an extract from the Wormhout map indicating the different "spots" to visit in order to answer the questions. Out of the 8 "spots" indicated on the map extract, challenges or puzzles to solve will earn you points. The events are accessible to everyone, except for crossbow shooting by the Crayhof crossbowmen whose handling recommends a minimum age of 16 years. But the younger ones can still reach the target thanks to the archery of the association La Guillaume Tell. Young and old alike can try Troll-Ball, a medieval sport straight from the universe of J.R.R Tolkien. In team, come challenge the MedAventure guild. Send the Troll’s head into the opposing camp but watch out for sword attacks!!! An initiation to the forge of yesteryear will be provided to valiant fighters allowing them to forge and acquire the Artifact of power!!! And other surprises "Oriented", concocted by the association CapOnord, await you ... The route will take you to visit Wormhout as you have never seen it before! The church, the Jeanne Devos museum and its garden, the new town hall... But will you be perceptive enough to answer all the questions in the booklet and thus, at the end of the game, open the Treasure Co re? At the end of the rally, at 17:30, all participants will be entitled to a snack offered by the municipality. Informations Registration in media library before September 13, 2025
