We will have a display of wedding photos and their details, personal reminiscences and newspaper accounts of Malin Head Weddings at home and abroad from 1900 onwards. We will trace how weddings have changed down through the years in Malin Head from how the match came about, the timing of the ceremony, how people were dressed, transport, wedding celebrations and going away. Aspects of a local country kitchen will be recreated and between 3pm and 4pm we will have traditional music and songs similar to those on the 'Big Nights' to celebrate weddings long ago. Admission €2, children free Malin Head Youth Club Cafe will be opened during the event for refreshments
