In more than twenty years of existence, the archive centre in Béziers has collected nearly 3.5 million individual files from railway company and SNCF personnel. Since its beginnings, the center has made these files available to everyone, researchers, genealogists... At the heart of the railway industry, but with national missions of collection, communication and valorization, we are the guardians of the history of these railroaders. The national center of SNCF staff archives participates again this year in the heritage days and offers you various games (dominos, memory, lotos..) around the architectural heritage of the railways. So come quickly join us and play with us! (Many prizes are to be won). At the end of the workshop, a visit to our premises, usually forbidden to the public, will be offered. You will undoubtedly be surprised by the quantity of documents, as well as by the diversity of the media preserved.
