Discover more about the nightime natural heritage of the historic village of Donard, near Dunlavin in County Wicklow on this evening excursion. Meet at 8.15pm outside Donard Community Hall for an introduction by ecologist Faith Wilson to be followed by a gentle guided walk in the locality. Donard Tidy Towns Association have received a community heritage grant from The Heritage Council to prepare a conservation plan for the historic graveyard and church ruins, and part of this process involves documenting the biodiversity and natural heritage as well as the cultural and archaeological aspects. This event is organised jointly by DTTA and Wicklow County Council in association with Donard Imaal History (iCAN). All are wecome.
