Drumboe Woods Bat Safari, Stranorlar
Join Bat Conservation Ireland and Donegal County Council Biodiversity Officer at the stunning Drumboe Woods as we go for a moonlit bat walk through the woodland, and along the River Finn with special bat detecting equipment. Before we set off on the walk, families will have a series of fun 'batty challenges' to complete at the BASE enterprise centre.
This National Heritage Week event has been organised by Donegal County Council Biodiversity Office with funding support from The Heritage Council, through the County Biodiversity Action Plan programme
We will meet at the Base for the indoor talk and games, then walk or drive over to Drumboe woods for bat walk, weather permitting.
Event is suitable for ages 7+
All children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.
Event is weather dependent and may have to be rescheduled if there is heavy rain or high winds.
