As part of the Merlin Park Woods Heritage Conservation and Woodland Coppicng Research Project, Friends of Merlin Woods will be running a two day workshop on Dry stonewalling led by Fergus Packman in Merlin Park Woods. This is an ongoing project funded through the Community Heritage grant by The Heritage Council.

Dry stonewalling is a traditional craft and here we are restoring some of the original feature walls of the woodlands, Be part of a wonderful tradition. learn a new skill and part of saving historical features of our local woodland

This event is free but booking is essential as spaces will be limited. It runs Saturday Aug 17th and Sunday August 18th.
