An exhibition Lumières: Enlightenment through the Centuries was organised on the occasion of marking the centenary of the French Institute in Croatia. The exhibition is accompanied by a scientific lecture and a demonstration workshop on restoration. In addition to informative panels that show the history of enlightenment and encyclopedism, visitors will be able to see several volumes of the encyclopedia Encyclopédie ou Dictionnaire raisonné des Sciences, des Arts et des Métiers (published between 1751 and 1772), whose 33 volumes are stored in the premises of the National and University Library in Zagreb.
