Cavan Library Service are delighted to host a cross-departmental event with our colleagues in Heritage and Biodiversity on the importance of heritage graveyards. ‘Echoes in Stone: Exploring Historic Graveyards’ will be the ideal Heritage Week event for historic graveyard enthusiasts and committee members. Attendees will find out about the importance of local graveyards in local studies, as well as gaining an understanding of the preservation of graveyards and the process involved to assist them in their work. Speakers include Camin O'Brien, Archaeologist with the Archaeological Survey of Ireland. Please note spaces are limited for this unique event.
