Edinburgh Central Mosque is an iconic building in the heart of Scotland’s capital city. Completed in 1998, it is Edinburgh’s main mosque and cultural centre. Doors Open Day is an opportunity to explore the Mosque and meet the Muslim community.
Visitors will have the chance to view our Islamic exhibition, explore the Mosque and enjoy refreshments.
Tours of the Mosque will take place throughout the day.
There is good wheelchair access to the main prayer hall. The lower floor also has good wheelchair access but the wheelchair user would need to go round several buildings to access it.
