El Camino de Santiago atraviesa Vitoria-Gasteiz y en esta visita podremos recorrer uno de sus tramos visitando algunas obras de arte vinculadas a él. Comenzaremos en la Catedral Nueva, haciendo un “pequeño recorrido” por el Camino Vasco de Interior, desde Hondarribia hasta Tolosa gracias a las representaciones peregrinas de la girola.  Siguiendo las flechas amarillas llegaremos hasta la iglesia de San Pedro, la más jacobea de la ciudad. El desaparecido hospital que estaba junto a ella, alojó a miles de personas que realizaron el camino. El recorrido finalizará en la parroquia de Santa María, ubicada en la capilla de Santiago, en la zona más alta de la almendra medieval. Esta ruta te propone conocer historias del camino, anécdotas de peregrinar y el arte vinculado a la ruta jacobea.

Donejakue Bideak Vitoria-Gasteiz zeharkatzen du, eta, bisita honetan, bide horren zati bat zeharkatu ahal izango dugu, hari lotutako artelan batzuk bisitatuz. Katedral Berrian hasiko gara, Barrualdeko Euskal Bidetik "ibilbide txiki" bat eginez, Hondarribitik Tolosaraino, girolan dauden erromes irudikapenei esker. Gezi horiak jarraituz, San Pedro elizaraino iritsiko gara, hiriko elizarik donejakuetarreneraino. Haren ondoan zegoen ospitale desagertuak hartu zituen bidea egin zuten milaka pertsona. Ibilbidea Santa Maria parrokian amaituko da, Santiago kaperan, Erdi Aroko almendraren goialdean. Ibilbide honek bidearen istorioak, erromesaldien pasadizoak eta Donejakue Bideari lotutako artea ezagutzea proposatzen dizu.

The Way of Saint James crosses Vitoria-Gasteiz and on this visit we will be able to walk one of its sections visiting some works of art linked to it.
