Enniskerry Heritage Stroll will take place on Saturday 24th August at 11am. ENNISKERRY TIDY TOWNS plans to conduct a stroll through the village, led by John Prosser and starting at St. Patricks COI Church. The Stroll will pass down through the village, stopping at various heritage houses and points of interest and ending at St. Mary’s RC Church. The two churches, which were both built in 1859, represent significant heritage buildings in what is out an outstanding and unique architectural heritage village.

We have divided the village into its three constituent townlands: Cooktown, Killgaran and Knocksink as the legal structure of Ireland, at that time, was based on townlands, which formed part of the Barony of Rathdown, in the county of Wicklow.

There will be 5 stops along the way, to illustrate the unique features of the village, plus some relevant anecdotes about famous people and events, that make up part of our heritage.
The STROLL will commence at 11am and should take about 1 hour.
