About the Event

Enter the Maltaverse is an online exhibition showcasing the architectural heritage of Malta and Gozo throughout history. Come along to explore the significance of traditional buildings, temples and related folklore in an online gallery. The exhibition is hosted in ‘the metaverse’, a place on the internet you can visit from the comfort of your own home, just like visiting a real gallery, welcoming people of all ages to explore Maltese heritage together.

Visit online anytime during European Heritage Days to view the exhibition, 3-12 October 2025. The exhibition launch party will take place on Tuesday 7th October, 11am-1pm (Malta).

About the Host

Dee Dee Chainey-Jones is a folklore author and storyteller known for the #FolkloreThursday online community project. With a background in archaeology focusing on engagement with prehistoric landscapes, she explores how stories and traditions connect people with places, past and present. She now creates accessible VR experiences that open up heritage in new and imaginative ways. Dee Dee is British and lives in Gozo with her husband.
