Overview
The church of Saint Sulpice in Panon is a Romanesque church, it has a Roman portal made up of elaborate decorative elements. At the top of the tower, a two-sided roof so recognizable in the region, two dogs are crouched. The interior of the church is composed of a paneled nave. a Christ on the cross is installed on the beam of glory, surrounded by two polychrome statues of St John and his mother. Placed on the altar, the tabernacle evokes a palace made of twisted columns, raised by a dome surrounded by a balustrade. Under the altar, one can distinguish the tip of an old hotel carved in stone, which is quite rare.
