Overview
This year again, the Hydronef mill in Longué-Jumelles invites you to discover this heritage through a rich and varied program accessible for all audiences around the national theme: "Architectural Heritage". Medieval water mill entirely transformed in the 19th century. It is a fascinating testimony of human ingenuity, using the force of water to grind grain.
Program of September 20, 2025:
Free visit from 10am to 12pm, then from 3pm to 6pm. Workshop with the construction of a paper model of the Hydronef Mill at 3pm for the whole family. Reservation recommended. Workshop recommended from 6 years old. Temporary exhibition with 3 artists: Naëhl, Eliane le Corre and Michelle Gagnereau on the tour route.Program of September 21, 2025:
Heritage Tour in 4 stages with:- Guided tour of the Hydronef Mill to discover the different stages of the mechanism;
- Presentation and demonstration of the clay fort ball game with the Association "Boule d'Anjou";
- Visit of the laundries of Longué with the association "Amis des lavoirs";
- Visit of the Church Notre-Dame-de-la-Légion-d'honneur (only at 3 PM). Hours: 10am and 3pm. By reservation. Duration: 2h.
