The CADEMA invites you to experience an exceptional day around heritage, know-how and local traditions, in parallel with the monthly market of Hajangoua. 🕗 8:00 - 8:15: Meet on the beach of Iloni for the departure of a guided walk. You will walk along the beach of Bonne Marée and its fountain, before reaching the remains of the old sugar factory. This commented tour will immerse you in the history of this emblematic site. The return will take place towards the covered market of Hajangoua. 🎨 9:30 - 12:30: Under the covered market hall, place to educational and craft workshops for young and old. You will be able to discover braiding with the associations Tsissiria-Hazi and L'Île aux Nids d'Iloni, but also participate in fun and educational activities: • Construction of traditional bamboo or falé hut models, • Initiation in braiding coconut leaves used for roofing, • Workshop «Draw your dream house» inspired by local architecture, • Construction of a wall with natural materials. 🏘️ 10:45 - 11:30: Don’t miss the guided tour of the historic village of Hajangoua, to discover its role in the memory and history of Mayotte. 🛍️ All morning: You will also have access to the craft and agricultural market, a friendly space to exchange with producers and artisans, discover local products and appreciate the richness of traditional know-how. 🍴 12:30 - 13:30: The day will end with a lunch snack prepared with local and traditional products, to be shared in a friendly atmosphere. 📍 Location: Hajangoua - indoor market and surroundings 👥 Open to all - Free admission This day is the perfect opportunity to (re)discover the cultural and natural heritage of our territory, learn with family or friends, and share a unique moment around the traditions that make up the identity of Mayotte.
