Located facing the local media library, the Museum of the City of Chauny opened in 2002, shelters from objects witnesses(batons) of the local history(story) going of the Prehistory in our days. Among them they count so a collection of faience of the municipality close to Sinceny. Due to the heavy damage undergone by the city during the World War I, the Local Museum organises regularly exhibitions(exposures) and visits on Reconstruction and Art deco heritage of the city.
