Winner of a call for creation and residency launched by the Courbet Pole, Hélène Combal-Weiss was invited to invest the Courbet family farm in Flagey in spring 2025. Video maker and visual artist, the artist questions our ways of connecting with the living and nature through sensitive works that address the transmission of know-how. The unpublished works exhibited at Flagey, fruits of two phases of artistic production, realized in situ, echo the theme "Art and nature" of the Pôle Courbet, and in particular to the exhibition Walking landscapes from the Courbet Museum. Hélène Combal-Weiss, with her "textile landscapes" tinged with plants from the plateaus and valleys between Loue and Lison, offers us a sensory and poetic experience, leading the viewer to journey in this new environment.
