Following the artistic morning «Painters in town» organized as part of the European Heritage Days, the City of Montmélian invites you to discover the works created by the participants during this meeting between painting and heritage. Sketches, watercolors, sketches or more accomplished paintings: this collective exhibition reproduces the singular views placed on the old city, its atmosphere, its architectural details and its streets full of history. Each work reflects a moment, an emotion, a light caught at the turn of a wall or a facade. Through these creations born on the spot, it is a sensitive and living portrait of Montmélian that emerges, worn by artists of one day or forever.
