Late in its construction, this washhouse, which uses modern materials, reflects the concern for the public good expressed by the republican mayor of the time, Léon Deverteuil. It is used for about fifty years. The roofs sloped inwards allow rainwater to be collected in the two basins, one for cleaning and the other for leaching. The water supply is essentially provided by a powerful pump from the Beignon well, located below 200 meters.
