The Society of history, archaeology and genealogy of the mountains of Tarare will blow its candles among others for the European heritage days. For the occasion, the association has planned a large exhibition on the textile heritage of Tarare and its surroundings. It will also be possible to discover fragments of Gallo-Roman pottery, family trees, photographs and personalities that have marked the history of the city, as well as rare manuscripts... Children will be able to learn archaeology through an excavation workshop. As for the older ones, they will taste the pleasure of palaeography.
