Come along and view a selection of items from the Kildare Local Studies collections relating to the Heritage Week 2024 theme of ‘Connections, Routes & Networks’. Maps, photographs, rare books, newspaper extracts and a selection of publications from the Kildare Local Studies collections will be on display. The immense transport heritage of Kildare, including road, rail & canal routes, along with other connections between people and communities in County Kildare history will all feature. Local Studies staff will be available to answer questions and show resources available for local history research in County Kildare.
