Overview

The choir of the church bears witness to its first construction in the 13th century and contains an unexpected double liturgical pool of the same period. It is also decorated with much later wooden stales and a magnificent Louis XVI style altarpiece where a painted resurrection of the nineteenth century throne. The choir also houses a funerary slab where we were buried several lords of Annouville and their wives whose evocation helps understand the history of the village. The nave of the XVIth century leads to the other interest of the building: its bell tower-stone porch dating from the counter-reform and typical of the surrounding sanctuaries, surmounted by a later spire (Louis XIV) whose military vocation is being studied for its transmission of information from the coast inland at the time of the War of Spanish Succession.
