Exhibition: terrestrial matter
Project carried out as part of the Matrimony Days. To witness the world as it goes, photographer Françoise Huguier, born in 1942, has always preferred the exiguity of modest homes to the grandiloquence of vast expanses. In these places of intimacy, we come across, in an abundance of colors, textures and materials, many figures of women whose daily life the photographer shares. In connection with the exhibition, Nathalie Boulouch’s lecture Colour: a photographic territory* will use a geographical metaphor to trace the history of the gradual entry of colour into the practice of photographers during the 20th century. Until September 27, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 2 PM to 7 PM *Tuesday, September 16 at 7 PM (1h) Conference by reservation: info@centrephotographique.com
