Overview

Inaugurated in the dependences(outbuildings) of the castle of The Eagle in 1953 by Mrs the marshal's wife Leclerc de Hautecloque, the June, 44 museum was the first museum speaking about France. Of the radio appeal of June 18, 1940 in the defeat of the Germans during the battle of the pocket of Falaise(Cliff), come discover stages(scenes) established(constituted) by wax characters. Installed a sound system with authentic voices(votes) of the main actors of this flustered period, you will dive again into events which marked this Second World War. A strategical card(map) of 36 m ² explains the battle of Normandy.
