Overview
Perpignan was a military town fought between France and Spain from the 15th to the 17th century. Built under Vauban, this building is the only one of the many powder kegs intended to serve the artillery of the stronghold, which still remains. Today it hosts an exhibition center around the military history of Perpignan. The main piece is the full-size copy of the relief of Perpignan made in 1686 at the request of Vauban.
