Discover on the occasion of the European Heritage Days the Bastideum de Monpazier!
Nestled within the former cloister of the Recollets, the Interpretation Center for Architecture and Heritage is a fun space retracing the history of the town of Monpazier, founded in 1284. The free entrance, from 19 to 21 September, will allow you to enjoy the permanent and temporary exhibitions of the museum, as well as its medieval-inspired garden and ancient games. Objects and ancient photos of Monpazier will also be exhibited on this occasion. The Bastideum also joins the media library, the school of Monpazier, as well as the association CLEM as part of the Book Festival 2025. The architectural heritage will be honored in this edition, with the presentation of the works of the students of the school of Monpazier in the Bastideum, on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
