Exploring the archives: Create your own historical comic with artist Clare Foley
Explore the history of medicine collections of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland to create your own historical comic! Clare Foley (illustrator of the recent historical graphic novel Fear & Fever: 14 Days of Typhoid in Edwardian Dublin) will show you how to create your own comics using real historical sources through hands-on exercises. All materials provided. Suitable for ages 12-16 (participants will need to bring a guardian). Places are limited and booking is essential. Tickets are only required for participating children - no booking necessary for guardians.
