This historic building, with deep roots in shipbuilding, has been creatively repurposed by Govan Workspace to foster 21st-century technology and innovation.
Come along to explore the studios and discover the inspiring work happening within its walls.
This year the following Fairfield businesses will open their doors to allow a glimpse of their studios and discuss the work they do: Firecrest Films, an independent award-winning production company making ambitious documentaries for major UK broadcasters and streamers; Craft Prospect, a space engineering firm developing leading-edge satellite technology and TMD, an international marketing agency incorporating some of Scotland’s most talented designers.
Craft Prospect will be taking part on the Saturday 11am to 4pm, Firecrest Films and The Marketing Department will take part both days.
Together, with fellow tenants, they continue the Fairfield legacy of design and engineering excellence and are proud to be in Govan.
The Fairfield Heritage shipbuilding museum will also be open to visit all day with archival material from the Govan Reminiscence Group on display.
