In the 1940's, the Folklore Commission gathered interviews from elderly people around Ireland about The Great Famine. Our Heritage Society will present the cultural memories that relate to Bailieborough and the surrounding areas. This event will start at the Town Lake Carpark and finish at the Old Church of Ireland Graveyard, where burials from the Workhouse took place. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
