Hugh Farrell, from the Longford Historical Society, who is a native of Legan will share his knowledge of 'Famous People from Legan'. His presentation will include people of historical interest who were involved in the 'Rising' and whose contributions were of vital importance in seizing our independence. Hughie Farrell, will also regale us with stories of 'Famous Characters' from Legan. These people came and lived for some time in Legan, then moved on having left their mark and are still, remembered fondly to this day. This is an attractive presentation full of knowledge wit and in homage to our Cultural Heritage.
